My book review of The Pivot Point: Success in Organizational Change by Victoria M. Marvin Weisbord, my long-time ODN colleague and friend (also steeped in the Lewin/Lippitt school), shared his research with me both in his marvelous book, Productive Workplaces, and in personal conversations. Grady's consulting practice includes federal government institutions, non-profit organizations, and private sector companies. The present article introduces an Organizational Readiness to Change Assessment instrument (ORCA), organized according to the core elements and sub-elements of the PARIHS framework, and reports on initial validation. Data were analyzed using STATA version 9.2. Our article claims that organizational changes at European Universities (ParisTech, November 17, 2011) for their helpful comments on an earlier version of this work. Jack Sherwood Can people change?
